Charlene Ann Jellison, 81, passed away Thursday, July 25, 2024 at Satanta District Hospital in Satanta, KS.  Born March 16, 1943 at Wichita, KS, she was the daughter of Charles and Mary Ann (Partridge) Murphy.

Ann was a longtime resident of Protection, KS, recently moving to Ulysses, KS.  She worked as a registered nurse at many different facilities during her life.

On July 20, 1963, Ann married Wallace Gary Jellison at Newton, KS.  He preceded her in death on July 17, 2013.

In addition to her husband, Ann was preceded in death by her mother: Mary (Partridge) Reece; her stepfather: Ray Reece; and a sister: Louise Gross.

Ann is survived by two sons: Cary Jellison and wife Josephine of Ulysses, KS and Chris Jellison and wife Jeanette of Wichita, KS; and grandchildren: Michael Jellison, Jesse Tucker, Payton Jellison, Mikayla Bell and husband Wyatt, and Ethan Jellison.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 17, 2024 at Protection Christian Church in Protection, KS, with Pastor Rusty Westerfield presiding.
