Betty Jean Jantzen, 73, passed away May 19, 2025, at her residence in Wichita, KS.  Born July 23, 1951, in Ashland, KS, she was the daughter of Wallace Dean and Marietta (Herman) Jantzen.

Betty Jean grew up in Protection, KS and graduated from Protection High School in 1969.  She was a Lab Tech in Wichita, KS.  She was also a Medical Transcriber.

She is survived by her brother: Robert Jantzen (Judy) of Guymon, OK; nephews: Ross "Luke" Hutcherson, Kelly Jantzen, and Tim Jantzen; and niece: Stacy Jantzen.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister: Mary Ellen Jantzen.

Memorial Graveside Inurnment was held at 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at Highland Cemetery in Ashland, KS.
