Boyd Holler
Boyd Holler, 45, died Sunday, July 3, 2011, as the result of an accident near Protection, Ks. Born November 27, 1965, at Ashland, Ks., the son of Gerald W. "Jerry" Holler and Billie D. (Barnes) Holler, he was a farmer.
Boyd was a lifetime resident of the Protection, Ks. area. He attended Protection Grade School, graduated from Protection High School in 1984, and attended North West Kansas Vo-Tech in Goodland, Ks. He was a member of the Protection Co-Op Board and the Soil Conservation Supervisor Board.
On March 31, 1990, he married Rebecca "Becky" McLaughlin at Protection, Ks. She survives.
Survivors include his wife: Becky Holler of Protection, Ks.; three daughters: Kaitlyn Holler, Laura Holler, and Bailey Holler, all of the home; his
mother: Billie Holler of Protection, Ks.; his grandmother: Marjorie Holler of Protection, Ks.; his brother: Mark Holler and companion Cheryl of Hutchinson, Ks.; his mother-in-law: Grace McLaughlin of Coldwater, Ks.; and many loving family members and close personal friends.
He was preceded in death by his father: Gerald "Jerry" Holler; his grandfathers: Albert Holler and Monte Barnes; and his grandmother: Thelma Barnes.
Funeral service is at 2:00 p.m., Monday, July 11, 2011, at the United Methodist Church in Protection, Ks. with Rev. La Verne Bolling and Rev. Micki McCorkle presiding.
Burial will follow the funeral service at the Protection Cemetery in Protection, Ks.
