Carl G. Conklin. 96, passed away on July 17, 2017. He was born to Harry and Eva Conklin at Humboldt, KS, where he attended school. He served 32 months in the Army Air Corps in North Africa, Italy, and Sardinia during World War II, then worked for Cities Service Gas Company for 37 ½ years.

He married Lorene (Sevier) at Matfield Green, KS and they have 2 children, Daryl of Randle, WA and Cheryl of Woodland Park, CO. Other survivors include: his wife, Lorene of Greensburg, KS; two grandchildren, Sarah (Ryan) Foster of Bellevue, WA and Aaron Conklin of Seattle, WA; and two great-grandchildren: Isaiah and Landon Foster.

Services will be held at a later date.
The family invites friends to greet them at the Greensburg United Methodist Church in Greensburg, KS from 4-6 p.m., Thursday, July 20, 2017.
