Charles Kim Leeper, 63, passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2016. Born April 27, 1953, at Coldwater, KS, he was the son of David Paul and Doris Anne (Dorsey) Leeper. Kim graduated from Protection High School in 1971 and attended Garden City Community College. On July 29, 1972, he married Sharon Kay Webster in Protection, KS. He was Co-Owner of Leeper Dirt Construction and was also a rancher and cattleman.

Kim had a deep love of horses, cattle, hunting, fishing, and most importantly, his family and friends. His grandchildren were one of his greatest joys. He was a member of the Protection Christian Church and Kansas Livestock Association.

He was preceded in death by his father: David Leeper.

Kim is survived by his wife: Sharon; his mother: Doris Anne; children: Cade Leeper (Jody) of Wilmore, KS, Seth Leeper of Silverton, OR, and Cassi Nunnery (JD) of Piedmont, OK; grandchildren: Creed & Cashton Leeper, Emma Grace & Parker Leeper, and Gage & Beckett Nunnery; brother: Mac Leeper (Sherry); sisters: Dana Selzer (Harvey), Sara Leeper (Cindy), Lisa Brooks (Lowell), Joni Rankin (Steve), and Mona Heinze (Dan); and many nieces and nephews in which he was extremely proud of.

Calling times are from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, December 4, 2016, at Hatfield-Prusa Funeral Home, Coldwater, KS.

Funeral Service is at 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 5, 2016, at the Protection Christian Church in Protection, KS, with Rod Rieger and Lee Jenkins presiding. Burial will follow the funeral service at Protection Cemetery in Protection, KS.
