Doris Joann Daniel was born on June 22, 1927 and passed away March 15, 2022 at the Minneola, KS Hospital. She was born on a farm near Wright, KS to George C. Lenz Sr. and Lulu Latatia Crego Lenz. She grew up in the Dodge City school district.

She married Arlon Victor Daniel of Stamford TX, November 20, 1943, in Dodge City, KS. They divorced on March 11, 1955. During this marriage, they had two sons, Rick Arlon Daniel and Dennis Lee Daniel.

She later married Myron Maas of Wichita, KS., on June 6, 1964, and they were divorced on February 28, 1978.

After living 26 years in Wichita, KS., she returned to Dodge City, KS in 1993. She moved to Coldwater, KS. in 2017. She had been residing at Hilltop House in Bucklin, KS since 2019 until the time of her death.

She is survived by: Sons: Rick Daniel and companion Nancy Ames of Salina, KS. and Dennis & Rhonda Daniel of Coldwater, KS. Grandchildren: Mike & Sandra Daniel, Christina & Dave Hargreave, Debbi & Derek Rogers and Angela & Richard Steiner. Great Grandchildren: John, Cody, Keenan, Arlon, Katrina, Christina, Courtney, Neal, Ashley, Sean, William, Alannah, Solomon, Dalton, Christopher, Maddie, Jase and Danielle. Great Great Grandchildren: Ethen, Even, Kiley, Seth, Tristan, Dallas, Rhian, Ryker, Lamya, Quinley, Quintavius, Mike, Mace, Addyleigh, Odin, Ariya, Oliver, Gavin, Malia and Caralee.

She is preceded in death by: Her parents. Brothers: Wayne, Earl, Virgil, Dale and Carl. Sisters: Dorothy Snodgrass, Leona Decker, Neva Hostetler, Adalene Eversole and Amy Winkler. Daughter-in-law: (Rick's) Lana Daniel. Grandchildren: Justin Bailey and Melynda "Mindy" Suddock Great Grandchildren: Blake.

There will be no viewing or funeral service as cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held at a later date at Maple Grove Cemetery, Dodge City, KS.
