Everett Leon Rogers, 59, passed away Thursday, March 26, 2020, at Meade District Hospital in Meade, KS.  Born July 3, 1960, at Kiowa, KS, he was the son of Everett Roland and Patsy Jean (Dunlap) Rogers.

On July 20, 1980, Leon married Barbara Lea "Bobbi" Bayne at Coldwater, KS.  She survives.

Leon is survived by his wife: Bobbi Rogers of Meade, KS; his mother: Patsy Rogers of Coldwater, KS; six children: Steadman Rogers of Oakland, CA, Laci Furr (Josh) of Turpin, OK, Travis Rogers (Emily) of Parker, CO, Brandt Rogers (Haily) of Ness City, KS, Miguel Rogers of Oakland, CA, and Ricky Rogers of Meade, KS; seven grandchildren: Lily Elise Rogers, Ami Matsui-Rogers, Peyton Joshua Furr, Lennox Jae Furr, Calum Byron Rogers, Oliver Quay Rogers, and Cannon Everett Rogers; one brother: Edwin Rogers (Andrea) of Coldwater, KS; one sister: Diana Thompson (Richard) of Coldwater, KS; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family members.

He was preceded in death by his father: Everett Roland Rogers; and his mother-in-law: Barbara Bayne.

A Celebration of Leon's Life will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, July 17, 2021, at Coldwater Veterans Building, 215 E. Main, Coldwater, KS.
