Hoy Lee Cox, Jr.
Hoy Lee Cox Jr., 70, died September 30, 2013, in Kiowa County Hospital. Hoy was born on May 14, 1943 in Dodge City, Kansas, to Hoy and Viola Cox. He lived in Cimarron, Kansas for several years then moved to Coldwater, Kansas where he lived until his death. He was a welder and maintenance workerand also did upholstery work with his wife.
Hoy was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Connie (Rector) Cox, Coldwater, Kansas; three sons, Ronnie Cox and wife Jessica, Dodge City, Kansas; Rick Cox and wife Tracie, Cimarron, Kansas; Rodney Cox, Stockton, Kansas; one daughter, Tammy Wright and husband Heath, Chaney, Kansas; one adopted son, Darren Konrade, Protection, Kansas; one daughter-in-law, Chrissy Myers and husband Johnny, Cimarron, Kansas; one brother, Raymond Cox and wife Margaret, Stillwater, Oklahoma; four sisters, Louise Wilcox, Dodge City, Kansas; Loretta Kienow, Dodge City, Kansas; Shirley Steinhert, Garden City, Kansas; Nellie Clark and husband Dennis, Wichita, Kansas; 15 grandchildren.
A service to celebrate his life will be held at Coldwater Lake on November 1, 2013, at 2:00 pm at the Large Shelter on West side of the lake.
Memorials are suggested to Hatfield-Prusa Funeral Home, 206 N Philadelphia St, Coldwater, KS 67029.
