Ivan Samuel Booth, 99, passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at Pioneer Lodge in Coldwater, KS. Born February 12, 1924, at the family farm north of Wilmore, KS, he was the son of Robert and Effie (Maltby) Booth.
Ivan was a lifetime farmer and rancher in the Wilmore, KS area. He attended Booth Country School and was a member of Wilmore Federated Church. Ivan enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.
On April 9, 1955, he married Irma Davis at Dodge City, KS. To this union was born one son: Ricky Lynn Booth. They were later divorced.
Ivan was preceded in death by his parents, one son: Ricky Lynn Booth; two brothers: Lester Booth and Robert Booth; and three sisters: Mabel Hadley, Amy Ring, and Rowena Snyder.
He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and their families.
Calling times are from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, March 17, 2023 (Family Will Be Present From 4-6 p.m.) at Hatfield-Prusa Funeral Home, Coldwater, KS.
Funeral service is at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 18, 2023 at Hatfield-Prusa Funeral Home, Coldwater, KS, with Pastor Jeff Perry presiding.
Burial will follow the funeral service at Wilmore Cemetery in Wilmore, KS.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Wilmore Federated Church or Wilmore Community Center in care of Hatfield-Prusa Funeral Home, P.O. Box 417, Coldwater, KS 67029.
