Jack Duane Lemon, 72, passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2019, at the Protection Valley Manor in Protection, KS.  Born July 24, 1947, at Ashland, KS, he was the son of Luther Daniel and Bessie Blanche (Dotson) Lemon.

Jack was a resident of Protection, KS for many years.  He graduated from Coldwater High School in 1966.  Jack enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing, and was an avid KU Jayhawk fan.

He is survived by one sister: Connie Spain and her husband Dick of Berryton, KS; and many close friends and neighbors.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother: Gary Lemon; one sister: Gay (Lemon) Boley; and an infant brother: Luther Lemon.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at Hatfield-Prusa Funeral Home, Coldwater, KS.
