Jack Leon Pyle, 72, passed away Sunday, June 27, 2021, at the Comanche County Hospital in Coldwater, KS. Born March 5, 1949, at Pratt, KS, he was the son of Jack Stanley and Claudine (Martin) Pyle.
Jack graduated from Haviland High School in Haviland, KS in 1967 and was the President of his Senior Class and quarterback of the football team. He attended Kansas State University. He was a resident of Coldwater, KS, for the past ten years.
Jack was a cowboy. He was a steer wrestler and bull rider, competing in and winning many rodeos with the International Professional Rodeo Association (I.P. R.A.).
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by two daughters: Carly Duval of Kansas City, MO and Candice Myers of Van, TX; one son: Trenton Pyle of Chickasha, OK; one sister: Jill Pyle of Deming, NM; six grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
Graveside service is at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 30, 2021, at Haviland Cemetery in Haviland, KS, with Pastor John Lewis presiding.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Donor's Choice in care of Hatfield-Prusa Funeral Home, P.O. Box 417, Coldwater, KS 67029.
