Jean Mcmillin's Obituary
N. Jean McMillin passed away on August 7th, 2018. She was the only child of Joy and Jessie (Lindsay) Hendrix, born January 23, 1931 in rural Comanche County, Kansas.
She married Donald D McMillin on February 21st, 1953. They spent the majority of their married life in Protection, KS. He preceded her in death.
Don and Jean are survived by three children, Frances Joy Schweitzer (Alan), Johnson, KS, Glen R. McMillin (Marsha), Liberty, MO and Chad M. McMillin (Pamela), Protection, KS; four grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Jean enjoyed sewing, quilting, gardening, playing the piano, and bible study. Most of all, she enjoyed raising her children and being with Don.
A private graveside service will be held at Crown Hill Cemetery, Coldwater, Kansas.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Alzheimer's Association or Alpha Christian Children's Home in care of Hatfield-Prusa Funeral Home, P.O. Box 417, Coldwater, KS 67029.
