John "Jack" F. Towner passed away peacefully March 9, 2024 at his home in Queen Creek, AZ. John was born on January 20, 1943 in Wichita, KS, from the union of John G. and Elnora Towner. He spent his childhood in Wichita and many summers spent on the Towner/Denney family farms.

He graduated from Southeast High School and attended Pittsburg State, then served in the Marines with one tour in Vietnam. He was employed at Learjet, Cessna, and Boeing at many locations, mainly in the Seattle area, as a contract engineer.

John is preceded in death by his parents: John and Elnora Towner; daughter: Tina Ann Towner; and brother Dr. Thomas G. Towner.

He leaves sons: Christopher (Jeanine) Towner, Darin (Norma) Towner and Billy (Amber) Woods; brothers: Jeff (Terry) Towner and Tim Towner; sister: Sarajane (Gael) McCully; sister-in-law: Lori Towner; six grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

Interment at the Lexington Cemetery, Lexington, KS.
