Obituary
Justin Lee Bailey (35), came into this world in Enid, Oklahoma, May 2, 1979 like a whirlwind during a tornado. He left this world with just as much of an effect, on April 12, 2015.
Justin left behind a son, Dalton Lee Bailey (7), Fiancé, Andrea R. Girk (son, Kaisyn (3)). He is survived by his parents: Elmo F (Patricia) Bailey & Rhonda K (Dennis) Daniel. Grandparents: Harry DeArmond, Doris Daniel & Flo Godfrey. Siblings: Angela (Richard) Steiner, Stephanie (Jamey) Brazell, Tyler Bailey, Nicole Bailey & Stepsister Mindy (Ethan) Burris. Aunts: Agnes Borden & Debi Burkes. He has several nieces, nephews, cousins and one great niece. He was welcomed in Heaven by Grandparents: Elmo Jack Bailey, Joe Dilbeck, Opal Roxie Dilbeck, & Laurene DeArmond.
He graduated from Coldwater High School in 1998, and after getting his associates degree in college, Justin returned and built a life there, following in the "bootsteps" of his Grandpa Harry and Dad, as a journeyman lineman. Justin served as City Councilmen for one and a half terms and was a member of the golf board.
The most important thing to him was being the best dad he could be. His hobbies and interests included anything with his hands, mechanics, wood work or painting. He loved hanging out with friends and family anywhere, especially at the lake. Shooting guns, playing golf and anything with wheels and power, were Justin's special leisure time activities.
His friends and family and anyone who knew him can tell you that he was the type of person to do anything for anyone. Even in his passing, he managed to help others. Through organ donation, Justin was able to save three lives.
Calling times are from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, April 19, 2015, at Hatfield-Prusa Funeral Home, Coldwater, KS.
Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Monday, April 20, 2015, at the First Christian Church, 201 N. Central, Coldwater, KS.
Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at Crown Hill Cemetery, Coldwater, KS.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to Justin Bailey Memorial Fund in care of Hatfield-Prusa Funeral Home, P.O. Box 417, Coldwater, KS 67029.
