Karen Ann Perschbacher, 59, of Coldwater died at her home in her sleep Friday night, Jan. 6, 2017.
Born in Detroit, Mich., June 18, 1957, she was the daughter of George and Francis Wood. She grew up in Detroit, graduating from high school and attending college there.
She married Wayne Perschbacher July 27, 1988. The Perschbachers moved to Coldwater after the Greensburg tornado in 2007 when his construction work brought him to Kansas.
Since moving to Coldwater she has worked as a custodian at the Comanche County Courthouse and the Coldwater Post Office, and in housekeeping at Pioneer Lodge. For the past year or so, she has not worked outside the home due to her health.
She was preceded in death by both her parents.
Her survivors include: her husband of Coldwater; two sons, Jerry Michael Faust of Newport, Mich., and Timothy Matthew Faust of Holland Mich.; and one brother, Larry Wood of Tallahassee, Fla.
