Kenneth C. Webb

Kenneth C. Webb, 86, passed away Friday, November 2, 2012, at the Comanche County Hospital in Coldwater, KS. Born November 17, 1925 near Plainview, TX, the son of Fred E. and Esther (Schrock) Webb, he was a farmer and stockman.
Kenneth was a lifetime resident of the Protection, KS area and attended Protection Grade School and Protection High School. On June 3, 1945, he married Jeanne Williams at Protection, KS.
He was a member of the Protection United Methodist Church; Kansas Hereford Association; and was a longtime leader and supporter of the Comanche County 4-H.
He is survived by his wife: Jeanne Webb of Protection, KS; one son: Dave Webb of Protection, KS; two daughters: Elaine Gruver and her husband Norval of Independence, KS and Leanne Tschanz of Satanta, KS; one brother: Fred Webb and his wife Marlene of Protection, KS; five grandchildren: Kate Barnes, Kurt Tschanz, Jill Hendershot, Jana Rombeck, and Lisa Reddout; four great-grandchildren: Ethan Tschanz, Emma Tschanz, Evan Tschanz, and Nolan Rombeck; and eleven nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers: Morris Webb and Bob Webb; one sister: Margaret Sangster; and a son-in-law: Michael Tschanz.

Friends may call from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Sunday at Hatfield-Prusa Funeral Home, Coldwater, KS. Funeral service is at 10:30 a.m., Monday, November 5, 2012, at the United Methodist Church in Protection, KS, with Rev. Micki McCorkle presiding.
Burial will follow the funeral service at Protection Cemetery in Protection, KS.
