Lovella Eldora Weber
Lovella Eldora Weber, 77, passed away Sunday, October 16, 2011, at the Comanche County Hospital in Coldwater, Kansas. Born June 11, 1934, at Fowler, Kansas, she was the daughter of Ramon and Mildred (Hill) Trober.
Lovella was a long time resident of Coldwater, Kansas, moving to the area in 1975, previously living in Woodward, Oklahoma and Ashland, Kansas. She graduated from Fowler High School in Fowler, Kansas in 1953 and was a member of the First Christian Church in Coldwater, Kansas. She was a strong supporter of the local schools.
During her life, Lovella worked as a licensed daycare provider, as a cook at the school, as a housekeeper at the Comanche Motel, as a nurse's aide at the Bucklin Hospital, as manager of the Dairy Plaza in Ashland, and also ran the locker in Ashland.
On October 14, 1977, she married Alan Weber in Wakeeney, Kansas. He preceded her in death on May 7, 2008.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and one sister: Lena Glaze.
She is survived by four children: Darrell Cusick and his wife Eleanor of Newton, Kansas, Diana Gordon and her husband Bill of Ashland, Kansas, Terry Cusick and his wife Sandy of San Antonio, Texas, and Ramon Cusick and his wife Becky of Louisburg, Kansas; two brothers: Odus Trober of Hays, Kansas, and Edwin Trober and his wife Betty of Fowler, Kansas; eleven grandchildren: Brandon Cusick, Micah Cusick, Robbie Lynn, Michelle Lynn, Vestanna Kolter, Cory Cusick, Travis Cusick, Tiffany French, Conan French, Nicci Nauman, and Chasity Cusick; nine great-grandchildren: Bryan, Gavin, Mackenzie, and McKennah Cusick, Christian and Addyson French, Eddie Kolter, and Claire and Stella Nauman; two brothers-in-law; and two sisters-in-law.
Graveside service is at 1:00 p.m., Friday, October 21, 2011, at Crown Hill Cemetery in Coldwater, Kansas, with Andrew Evans presiding.Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Friday, at Hatfield-Prusa Funeral Home, Coldwater, Ks.
