Marjorie Faye (Lacer) Cook died peacefully at the age of 71 on September 13, 2016, at Comanche County Hospital in Coldwater, KS. She was born in Mooreland, OK on June 24, 1945, to Thomas Franklin and Edna Elsie (Huenergardt) Lacer.
She grew up and attended school in Ashland, KS. On June 10, 1962, she married Milo Eugene Cook in Buffalo, OK. They raised their family in Protection, KS.
Survivors include her husband of the home; children: Pearl and Alan Ellis of Coldwater, KS, Milo and Joyce Cook of Protection, KS, George and Carmen Cook of Kansas City, MO, and Corina and Fred Williams of Natoma, KS; twenty-nine grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren, with one more great on the way; one sister-in-law; two brothers-in-law; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, one brother-in-law, and two sisters-in-law.
Private family graveside services will be held.
