Mark Anthony Williams, 52, passed away suddenly, Thursday, April 18, 2019, at his home in McPherson, KS. Born August 29, 1966, at Coldwater, KS, he was the son of Donald Wayne and Marquita Lee (Parkin) Williams.

Mark attended Coldwater Grade School and graduated from Coldwater High School in 1984. He received a bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Fort Hays State University. He was a member of the Coldwater First Christian Church in Coldwater, KS, while growing up.

Mark worked for Abbott Labs and retired from Pfizer Corporation, McPherson, KS, in 2016. He enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys and K.U. Jayhawks, and hiking in Colorado, but his all-time favorites were his two daughters and spending time with his family.

He is survived by two daughters: Shelby Williams and Alyssa Williams, both of McPherson, KS; one sister: Shelly Newton and husband Rick of Hutchinson, KS; one brother: Michael Williams of Fremont, NE; a special friend: Lisa Cherry; nieces and nephews: Hayley Sprecker and husband Doug, Ariel Haskin, and Adam Haskin and wife Richelle; great-nephews: Jackson Sprecker and Riley Sprecker; and other relatives and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Celebration of Life Visitation with Family Present will be from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Friday, May 24, 2019 at Hatfield-Prusa Funeral Home, Coldwater, KS.

Inurnment will be at Crown Hill Cemetery, Coldwater, KS.
