Mary Jane Booth, 80, passed away Monday, December 20, 2021, at Comanche County Hospital in Coldwater, KS.  Born May 1, 1941, at Coldwater, KS, she was the daughter of Oliver Coy and Thelma (Hickman) Emerick.

Mary Jane was a lifetime resident of Comanche County and Kiowa County, KS.  She graduated from Wilmore High School in 1959.  She was a member of Wilmore Federated Church and Job's Daughters International.  She was a cook, working at the Ranch House Café in Wilmore, KS, Willie Burger in Haviland, KS, and most recently at Kiowa County Memorial Hospital in Greensburg, KS.

On June 27, 1959, she married Lester Donald "Don" Booth at Pratt, KS.  He preceded her in death on July 12, 2014.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter: Mandy Dunn.

She is survived by two sons: Ron Booth of Haviland, KS and Rob Booth (Wanda) of Greensburg, KS; one daughter: Melissa Haas (Trent) of Coldwater, KS; one son-in-law: Andy Dunn of Richfield, KS; five grandchildren: Ronda Cookson (Dan), Megan Goossen (Fred), Lindsay Rodgers (Lance), Hannah Dunn, and Lane Haas; and nine great-grandchildren: Ashley, Harper, Cole, Zayley, Casen, Grady, Lynnox, Paxton, and Paisley.

Visitation with Family Present is from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at Hatfield-Prusa Funeral Home, Coldwater, KS.

Graveside service is at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 23, 2021, at Wilmore Cemetery in Wilmore, KS, with Pastor Kennedy Mukwindidza presiding.
