Mary Lou Schenk, 90, passed away Sunday, September 20, 2020, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, KS.  Born June 2, 1930, at Spencer, OK, she was the daughter of Henry Raymond and Marian Luella (Randall) Haines.

Mary Lou was nearly a lifetime resident of Greensburg, KS.  She was a member of the Greensburg United Methodist Church, where she served as librarian.  She also volunteered at Care 'n Share in Greensburg for many years.

On June 3, 1955, she married Frederick John Schenk at Wichita, KS.  He preceded her in death.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by two sisters: Rae Jean Morren and her husband Richard of Oklahoma City, OK, and Charlene Morren and her husband John of Norman, OK; and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Greensburg First United Methodist Church in care of Hatfield-Prusa Funeral Home, P.O. Box 417, Coldwater, KS 67029.

Memorial Service is at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 24, 2020, at the Greensburg First United Methodist Church, Greensburg, KS, with Pastor Chu presiding.

The family requests that masks be worn by those attending the memorial service.
