Morris Paul Deewall, RPh, 80, of Wentzville, MO passed away peacefully at home on March 25, 2025.

Morris was born and raised on a farm in the small town of Coldwater, KS. He was a proud and very active member of 4-H, and many of his fondest memories were of growing up "out on the farm", where he developed a strong work ethic that would last his entire life.

Morris was married 57 years to his beloved wife and best friend, Linda. Morris and Linda were residents of Godfrey, IL for over 40 years before living in Wentzville, MO for the past 10 years. They shared 2 daughters and 4 grandchildren. Melissa (Deewall) and Jason Herter of Wylie, TX, and Stacy (Deewall) and Shawn Singer of Wentzville, MO and grandchildren Grant and Andrew Herter of Wylie, TX and Cora and Brynley Singer of Wentzville, MO. Morris is survived by 2 sisters, Rochelle (Bob) Stith of Wichita, KS and Marleen (Darrell) Frazier of Coldwater, KS, and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Morris was preceded in death by his brother, Ross (Barbara) Deewall of Coldwater, KS and parents Ralph and Irene Deewall.

Morris attended Fort Hays State University in Hays, KS then attended the University of Missouri Kansas City Pharmacy School, earning a degree as a Registered Pharmacist. He worked in pharmaceutical sales and management for over 30 years. Even at the age of 80, Morris continued to work as a pharmacist after retirement.

He was a man of many passions including farming, hunting, woodworking, and traveling with his wife to many places with their RV. He also had a passion for music, earning awards and traveling with a college choir. His family would enjoy the glimpses of his talent while attending church or attending an event with the National Anthem.

He cherished his time spent attending his grandchildren's sporting, school and 4H events, always eager to support, encourage, and give much needed advice. His pride and joy were his grandchildren, and he never missed an opportunity to show his love for them.

Morris was known for his hardworking nature, often boasting of his efforts on the farm. He was a man of many words and stories never hesitating to strike up a conversation with anyone he met, always making friends.

He had a short battle with cancer of the liver, but remained a source of comfort and strength for his family until his final days. His family is blessed to have spent his remaining time in the comfort of his home, with family surrounding him and their dog Molly. Together with his wife, Linda, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and countless cherished memories. His legacy of love, hard work, and devotion to family will continue to live on in all who knew him. He will be forever cherished.

A Celebration of Life Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Saturday, June 7, 2025, at Coldwater Veterans Building, 239 E. Main, Coldwater, KS 67029.
