Paul Austin Hanger, 32, passed away Sunday, May 17, 2020, at the Comanche County Hospital in Coldwater, KS.  Born July 1, 1987, at Ponca City, OK, he was the son of Jay Hanger and Elizabeth Cook.

Paul was a resident of Coldwater, KS, previously living in Ponca City, OK, where he was born and raised.  He attended Ponca City Public Schools.  He was a member of the Ponca City Disc Golf Club and enjoyed fishing, playing his guitar, and Jeep Off-Roading.  He was an avid St. Louis Cardinal's fan, something he shared and enjoyed with his father.  Paul loved his dogs and above all else, he especially loved his daughter, Blake.

Paul is survived by his father: Jay Hanger of Ponca City, OK; his mother and step-father: Beth and Stephen Bryant of Coldwater, KS; his daughter: Blake Hanger of Ponca City, OK; his brother: Ryan Hanger of Coldwater, KS; eleven cousins; and numerous other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his aunt: Amy Boyd; and his grandparents: Charles and Marilyn Hanger, Floyd Cook, and Sandra Keller.

Due to coronavirus concerns, a memorial service will be planned at a later date.
