Pauline Miller

Pauline Miller, 82, passed away Thursday, August 15, 2013, at Via Christi St. Francis in Wichita, KS. Born October 28, 1930, at Alva, OK, she was the daughter of Arthur and Lola (McMurtry) Molz.
Pauline graduated from Kiowa High School in Kiowa, KS in 1948 and attended Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Alva, OK, where she was a member of Sigma Sigma Sigma Sorority. On October 26, 1951, she married Darrol Miller. He survives.
Pauline was nearly a lifetime resident of Comanche County, KS. She was a homemaker and received the State of Kansas Master Farmer Homemaker Award in 1985. She also worked as a Para for the Coldwater Grade School for many years.
Pauline was a former member of the First Christian Church in Kiowa, KS and the Antioch Methodist Church in Buttermilk, KS. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Coldwater, KS, where she was a Sunday School Teacher, Vacation Bible School Teacher, and sang in the choir. She was a member of U.M.W. and Holmes Bible Study. Other memberships include: P.E.O.; Order of Eastern Star; Red Hat Society; and she served on the U.S.D. #300 School Board.

She is survived by her husband: Darrol Miller of Coldwater, KS; three daughters: Janet Bibb and her husband Clark of Coldwater, KS, Debra Teter and her husband John of Layton, Utah, and Melanie Laubhan and her husband Jim of Wichita, KS; one brother: Jim Molz of Kiowa, KS; two brothers-in-law: Tom Pierce of Coldwater, KS and Keith Peaster of Bartlesville, OK; six grandchildren: Amber Bibb, Erin Bibb, Whitney Cunningham, Matthew Teter, Ashley Teter, and Christian Laubhan; and one great-granddaughter: Annie Teter.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister: Lois Peaster; and one sister-in-law: Marilyn Pierce.

Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, August 18, 2013 (Family Will Be Present From 6-7) at Hatfield-Prusa Funeral Home, Coldwater, KS.

Funeral service is at 10:30 a.m., Monday, August 19, 2013, at the United Methodist Church in Coldwater, KS, with Rev. Gary Merritt presiding.

Burial will follow the funeral service at Crown Hill Cemetery in Coldwater, KS.
