Pauline L. Zielke, 94, passed away Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at her residence in Coldwater, KS. Born December 24, 1926, at Tulsa, OK, she was the daughter of Stanley George and Robbie Esther (Keese) Lasarsky.
Pauline graduated from High School in Ada, OK and received a Bachelor's Degree in Music and a teaching certificate in Vocal Music and Elementary Education from East Central State College in Ada, OK. She was a long time resident of Coldwater, KS, moving there in 1952.
On October 16, 1953, she married LeRoy Zielke at the United Methodist Church in Coldwater, KS. He preceded her in death on April 25, 2016.
Pauline was a member of the Coldwater United Methodist Church and U.M.W., where she sang in the Church Choir and served as a Sunday School Teacher. She enjoyed playing bridge and was a teacher and a homemaker.
In addition to her husband, LeRoy Zielke, she was preceded in death by her parents: Stanley George and Robbie Esther (Keese) Lasarsky; one daughter: Nina Mattox; two sisters and their husbands: Carolyn Oliver (Tom) and Beth Parker (Earl); a brother-in-law: Bill Hatcher; and a sister-in-law: Dorothy Zielke.
She is survived by two daughters: Karen Thomas (Mark) of Stillwater, OK and Robbie Uhl (Mike) of WaKeeney, KS; one son: John Zielke (Cindy) of Topeka, KS; one son-in-law: Robin Mattox of Stillwater, OK; one brother: Stanley Lasarsky (Phyllis) of Ada, OK; a brother-in-law: Charles Zielke of Ardmore, OK; a sister-in-law: Wanda Hatcher of Topeka, KS; eleven grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank: LeAnn Alley, Stephanie Cochran, Randi Jo Booth, and Interim Hospice for all of their loving care.
Memorial Service is at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 21, 2021, at Coldwater United Methodist Church, Coldwater, KS, with Pastor Kennedy Mukwindidza presiding. Inurnment will follow the service at Crown Hill Cemetery in Coldwater, KS.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Coldwater United Methodist Church in care of Hatfield-Prusa Funeral Home, P.O. Box 417, Coldwater, KS 67029.
