Ralph Sayre Metzger's Obituary
Ralph Sayre Metzger, 86, passed away Saturday, November 19, 2016, at Golden Living Center in Spring Hill, KS. Born February 24, 1930, at Laramie, Wyoming, he was the son of Ralph Sayre and Sylvia Lee (Funk) Metzger.
Ralph was a long-time resident of Wichita, Kansas, previously living in Protection, Kansas, and recently living in Spring Hill, Kansas. He attended schools in Omaha, Nebraska; Braman, Oklahoma; Florence, Nebraska; and high school in Protection, Kansas. He worked as a mechanic for many years in Wichita, Kansas.
Ralph was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by numerous cousins and many friends.
Graveside service is at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 22, 2016, at the Protection Cemetery in Protection, Kansas, with Rod Rieger presiding.
Memorials are suggested to Protection Township Library, Protection Cemetery, or Wounded Warriors in care of Hatfield-Prusa Funeral Home, P.O. Box 417, Coldwater, Kansas 67029.
