Ronald Duane Nichols, 76, passed away Thursday, July 30, 2020, at his residence in Greensburg, KS.  Born August 17, 1943, at Greensburg, KS, he was the son of Franklin and Lela (Nightengale) Nichols.

Ron was nearly a lifetime resident of Greensburg, KS, previously living in Denver, CO for seven years.  He graduated from Greensburg High School in Greensburg, KS.  Ron worked as a farmer, construction worker, and was a natural health care specialist for many years.

On February 12, 1966, he married Glenda Johnson near Copeland, KS.  She survives.

He is survived by his wife: Glenda Nichols of Greensburg, KS; two daughters: LaRona Miller (Joe) of Kansas City, MO and Misty Nichols (Tory Nelson) of Nashville, TN; one brother: Galen Nichols (Shirley) of Greensburg, KS; and four sisters: Wanda Litwiller of Ithaca, MI, Neoma Wadel of Greensburg, KS, Lavada Yost (Carl) Detroit, TX, and Shirley Nichols (Harold) of Gentry, AR.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a son: Kris Nichols.

Funeral service is at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, August 2, 2020, at the Greensburg United Methodist Church in Greensburg, KS, with Pastor David Buller presiding.

Burial will follow the funeral service at Bethel Memorial Gardens, south of Greensburg, KS.
