Sue Anne Weimaster, 66, passed away Monday, July 2, 2018, at Pioneer Lodge in Coldwater, KS. Born October 25, 1951, she was the daughter of James Daniel and Louise (Parcel) Thompson.
Sue graduated from Coldwater High School in 1969, and attended Hutchinson Community College, Kansas State University, and Humbolt Institute in Minneapolis, MN. She was a long-time resident of Russell, KS, previously living in Minneapolis, Chicago, Denver, and for a short time on a beach in Oregon with her dog Zinner.
On April 24, 1984, she married Allen Weimaster at Coldwater, KS. He survives.
Sue was a member of: First Presbyterian Church, Coldwater, KS; Sunny Valley 4-H; American Legion Auxiliary; and V.F.W. Auxiliary. She enjoyed: collecting Santas and bears; daytrips with the girls; wandering with Wayne; walking on the beach; catching and eating crabs from the Oregon Coast; keeping up with nieces and nephews lives; making "Sweet Magic Cookies"; junk store shopping; making wood crafts; and chocolate milk and RC Cola.
She is survived by her husband: Allen Weimaster of Russell, KS; two brothers: Kenneth Thompson (Julia) of Liberal, KS, and Wayne Thompson (Susie) of Coldwater, KS; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents: James and Louise Thompson.
Memorial service is at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 7, 2018, at United Methodist Church, Coldwater, KS, with Pastor Kennedy Mukwindidza presiding.
