Thomas "Tom" LeRoy Offield, 79, passed away Sunday, August 29, 2021, at his residence in Coldwater, KS.  Born May 8, 1942, at Contra Costa, CA, he was the son of Roy and Catherine (Wagoner) Offield.

Tom was a veteran, serving in the U.S. Air Force from 1960-1964.  He was a long time resident of Coldwater, KS, moving there in 1974.  Tom was the owner and operator of Coldwater Laundry Service in Coldwater, KS from 1978-2012.  He then worked as a rural mail carrier for many years.

He married Mary Gean in 1961.  They were later divorced.  He married Cindy Offield in 2000.  She preceded him in death on April 17, 2017.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, and two sisters.

He is survived by two daughters: Debra Adams (Raymond Affeldt) of Coldwater, KS and Terri Brosius (Ronny) of Coldwater, KS; three step-children: Corey Uhl (Amanda), Amy Wilson, and Andy Uhl (Jennifer); six grandchildren: Logan Adams, Clayton Adams, Allison Adams, Tina Brosius, Tyler Brosius, and Emily Brosius; eight step-grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Comanche County E.M.S. or Coldwater Volunteer Fire Department in care of Hatfield-Prusa Funeral Home, P.O. Box 417, Coldwater, KS 67029.

Celebration of Life Service is at 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 10, 2021, at Hatfield-Prusa Funeral Home, Coldwater, KS, with Mike Lehl presiding.
