Obituary

Tracy Allen Price was born August 23, 1971. He was the third born son of Eldon "Butch" Price and Pamela Price. He left this life on February 14, 2018. He is greeted in heaven by his dad, his grandma, Wintie Todd, grandma, Neva Rainbolt and several others that have gone before. He leaves behind his wife, Ange, son Drew (Ford) and his daughter Miya, daughter Addison Herd and Colton (Protection), daughter Mallory Price (Garden City), and one step son in China. Other survivors include his mother Pam Price (Protection), his three brothers Todd and Barbie (Protection), Travis and Becky (Bucklin) and Tyler and Morgan (Protection) and one aunt Julie Herd and John (Protection). Along with these, eleven nieces and nephews and countless friends. He grew up in Protection and, except for two years in the Navy and a couple of years in Scott City, he lived his whole life here. He said there was no place like home.

He was a member of the Protection Christian Church. He served two years in the United States Navy, two years Navy Reserve, and six years inactive reserve. He served on the Protection City Council.

Tracy loved to fly and was working towards obtaining his pilot's license. I used to jokingly say when he was in the Navy doing circles in the Persian Gulf that the minute he started for shore, he was looking for a phone booth to call home. He was always of quick wit and could have a comeback answer before you even finished your sentence. I used to tell him he should be a standup comedian and he said he couldn't because his feet hurt.

He was, as his dad, a jack of all trades. He was always trying something new or figuring out how to fix something and I don't think his mind even shut off when he was asleep. There are so many Tracy tales, I think you could write a book on them.

If you thought something was "out there", he was bound and determined to do it, and usually did it. So, I leave you with this; as Tracy did, live life to the fullest and love while you can.
