Viola H. "Vi" Bliss
Viola H. "Vi" Bliss, 91, passed away Tuesday, January 13, 2015, at the Pioneer Lodge in Coldwater, KS. Born November 23, 1923, at Bronx, New York, the daughter of Carmine and Raffaela (D'Auria) Bello, she was a homemaker.
Vi was a long time resident of Coldwater, KS, moving to the area in 1962. She was a member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary.
On October 26, 1962, she married Kenneth Bliss at Bronx, New York. He preceded her in death on June 5, 2002.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and seven brothers and sisters.
She is survived by two sisters-in-law: Martha "Marie" Lamb of Coldwater, KS and Roberta "Bert" Malone of Coldwater, KS; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside service is at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 29, 2015, at Crown Hill Cemetery in Coldwater, KS, with Pastor Brandon Hagins presiding.
