William "Bill" Joseph Gordon, Jr., 74, passed away Sunday, August 11, 2019, at Robert J. Dole V.A. Medical Center in Wichita, KS. Born July 25, 1945, at Pittston, PA, he was the son of William Gordon, Sr. and Elizabeth (Hilbert) Gordon.

Bill was a resident of Ashland, KS, moving there in 1998, previously living in Alaska. He graduated from high school in Middlesex, NJ in 1964. Bill was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the U.S. Air Force from 1965-1978. He was an avid New York Yankees baseball fan and enjoyed bowling.

On August 16, 1989, he married Diana Cusick at Fort Richardson in Anchorage, AK. She survives.

He is survived by his wife: Diana Gordon of Ashland, KS; his mother: Elizabeth Gordon of Wyoming, PA; two step-children: Robbie Lynn of Anchorage, AK and Michelle Kamps (Craig) of Livingston, MT; one daughter: Leandra Scalph of Anchorage, AK; one sister: Ruth Price (Joe) of Wyoming, PA; two grandchildren: Aaron and Ella Kamps; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father: William Gordon, Sr..

Celebration of Life Service is at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, August 15, 2019, at Hatfield-Prusa Funeral Home, Coldwater, KS, with full military honors.
